Over the past couple of years, the rise of teen's usage of electronic cigarettes has increase exponentially. As a result, the chemicals placed in vape pens, or Juuls, has physically harmed minors and young adults, placing them in ICU's all across the nation and even taking lives away. 

Users & families are misinformed about the life threatening side effects that go along with vaping. This page is dedicated to exploit the myths and shine light on the reality and facts about this issue.

  • electronic devices that heat liquids, which produce aerosol.

  • look like USB flash drives, pens or tanks

  • the act of using E-Cigarettes are called "vaping" or "juuling"

  • the liquid contains nicotine, flavorings & other chemicals that makes aerosol (tin, nickel, lead..etc)

 

  • user inhale the E-Cigarette aeorsol, then exhale into the air, similar to smoking​​

  • can harm the development of the brain in teens & young adults

    • EX: effects on attention, learning, mood & impulse control

  • highly addictive & can lead to future addiction to other drugs

    • shown to cause stress, anxiety, especially during withdrawl​
